This 4th of July

Triple Horse along with DirecTV and Propeller Consulting produced Songs of Praise for America, the third in the Songs of Praise series, this time celebrating America and the Fourth of July. This original program added a burst of patriotism to the programming line up with a musical celebration in honor of our nation's birthday. Hosting for the third time was Nascar legend Darrell Waltrip joining with Dove award-winner Natalie Grant. The special during the Fourth of July season on DirecTV's exclusive and inspirational channel 103.

During the 60 minute special the audience was treated to return guests Michael W. Smith and Nicole C. Mullen, while welcoming new guest, Mark Schultz. Additional inspirational performances included the USMA Cadet Glee Club, Prestonwood Baptist Choir and the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. Throughout the program, viewers watched everyday citizens share their memories of the holiday and what it means to be an American.

Songs of Praise for America is part of an ongoing DirecTV initiative to present more family friendly programming.
